Hunt Utilities Group

For two decades, Hunt Utilities Group has been dedicated to designing the most energy-efficient home. During our experiments, we determined hydronic in-floor heating is the most efficient way to heat a home. However, hydronic systems have remained unchanged for decades. This is where HUG Hydronics comes in.

HUG Hydronics: Installation in five easy steps

  1. Connect Your PEX Tube: Loop to its corresponding pump. These pumps will circulate the fluid throughout the floor, providing warmth. As a low-pressure system, we have eliminated the need for regulators or pressure valves. Simply slide our hoses over the PEX tubes, and you’re good to go.
  2. Connect The Thermostat: HUG Hydronics is compatible with any heat source, be it electric, gas, solar, wood boiler, or any other. This versatile system can accommodate up to four zones and three separate heat sources.
  3. Add Water/Glycol: Fill the tank with your desired water/glycol mixture.
  4. Purge The System: Purge the tubes of air. With our user-friendly jumpers, this process becomes quick and effortless.
  5. Configure For Your Home: Our intuitive control board allows you to adjust pump speeds, assign thermostat zones, and even prioritize specific zones.
